Nagham El Karhili is a Presidential Fellow at Georgia State University’s Transcultural Conflict and Violence Initiative. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations and a minor in Francophone Studies. She has also earned her Masters degree in Public Relations from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Communication with a focus on Media & Society. El Karhili’s research focuses on international political communication with particular attention to organizational communication with specific application to Muslim Civil Society Organizations. El Karhili worked as a communications instructor at the University of Louisiana in Lafayette and as a public relations practitioner in Dubai. She is fluent in Arabic, French, Spanish and English.
