Celal Emanet was born in Çorum, Turkey. He graduated from 19 May University Theology Faculty in 1999. He continued his master’s degree at 19 May University's branch of Islamic history in 2003. Celal completed his master’s degree on “The Contemporary of Turkey Negative Roll of Religious Movements as Strategic and Geopolitics” in 2005. He holds a PhD in Islamic Studies from Marmara University, Istanbul,Turkey. His dissertation is entitled “An American Convert: Muhammad Alexander Russell Webb (1846-1916).” He currently lives in the United States with his wife and 4 children.
