As we round out the podcast series and 2021 we wanted to bring the Squad to you up close and personal so you get to know the people behind the work you’ve come to love. From the neverending pandemic, exonerations in the murder of Malcolm X and the coup in Sudan to the Lox VERZUZ Dipset and Black Muslim women creatives making moves Squad members, Dr. Nisa Muhammad (Internship Coordinator), Jermaine Foster (Web Developer), Aïdah Aliyah Rasheed (Special Projects), Latasha Rouseau (Administrative Coordinator) and Aisha Caruth (Managing Editor), share their thoughts on the year’s wins, losses, and controversies.
