Salih Sayilgan is Visiting Assistant Professor of Islamic and Interreligious Studies at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC. He also serves as the managing editor of the Journal of Interreligious Studies and Intercultural Theology. Sayilgan received his MA in Religious Studies from the University of Alberta and PhD in Religion and Culture from the Catholic University of America. His research concentrates on Islamic theology and practice, Qur’anic studies, Islam in America, and Christian-Muslim relations. Prior to his appointment at Wesley, he taught courses at the Catholic University of America and Georgetown University. He is the author of numerous articles and currently working on a book project concerning Islamic theology and practice in America.
