Aisha Khan is a member of the Anthropology department and is affiliated with the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies and the Hagop Kevorkian Center for Near Eastern Studies at New York University. She has conducted research in Honduras, Trinidad, Guyana, and Haiti, and has published widely on South Asian and African diasporas, race, religion, colonialism, and creolization. Her published works include the monographs
