About the Course

Four Day Calligraphy Course from Sunday 7/9 until Wednesday 7/12

This is a special intensive course offering unique skills in the techniques of Arabic calligraphy taught by the renowned Muslim Chinese calligrapher, Haji Noor Deen. Students will learn two simple scripts, Thuluth and classical Chinese-Arabic script. Come learn and discover the beauty, depth, and spiritual meanings behind Islamic art and writing that has shaped the Muslim world for over a thousand years. Students will gain a profound appreciation for the artistic and elegant dimensions of the Islamic civilization through direct one-to-one training. This course will afford all an opportunity to become apprentices of Islamic calligraphy under a recognized master from the far eastern part of the Muslim world. Seats are limited.

There are two options for you to take this 4 day long course. Morning classes will be held each day from 10am till 1pm. These classes may be ideal for students on summer break. Evening classes held each day from 7pm-10pm may be more suitable for adults who work in the daytime.
