This event will feature an introduction from Dr. Larry Butler, Islamic Art historian, and include a presentation and demonstration of Arabic Thuluth script by calligrapher Khalid Casado. Co-sponsored with the Department of History & Art History and with Scripts N’ Scribes; a local arts organization dedicated to the promotion of Arabic calligraphy and ornamentation.
