Black American Muslim Internationalism Project at George Mason University’s AbuSulayman Center for Global Islamic Studies brought together a number of leading scholars to explore theoretical, historical and contemporary perspectives on the themes of the project, supported by a generous grant from the Henry Luce Foundation. The Project is led by Dr. Aminah Al-Deen and this focus group was facilitated by Prof. Edward Curtis. Participants included Besheer Mohamed, Alaina Morgan, Su’ad Abdul Khabeer, Sherman Jackson, Sylvester Johnson, Youssef Carter, Bilal Ware, and Gregory Abdullah Mitchell.
