Apply for a Maydan Internship

Maydan seeks motivated interns to join its team. The inaugural class of Maydan interns will have the opportunity to do research on a broad range of issues and themes in the wider field of Islamic Studies. Interns will be integrated to the content development process where they will gain considerable expertise in development of research databases, acquire research skills, and be exposed to WordPress web development systems. Our interns will have the additional opportunity to engage with leading scholars, researchers, and experts in the field of Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies. Strong skills in writing and communication, and attention to detail are required. The weekly workload range from 10 to 20 hours.

Priority will be given to Mason students and affiliates. For-credit internships are available. Off-site internships will be considered in exceptional circumstances.
